Miss Jeannes School of Dance Arts has been a leader in dance education in the Lehigh Valley for the past 67 years.
We specialize in teaching ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and hip hop.
Miss Jeanne's School of Dance Arts is devoted to inspiring students of all skill and age levels in a fun, friendly, and professional environment.
Our annual dance recitals use specialized lighting, costuming, and music with the professionalism of a Broadway show. We deliver nonstop audience entertainment from beginning to end!

Regular Attendance is Essential for Progress in Classes
• All students are required to wear appropriate attire per the following & with NO exceptions:
Note: Please label all student equipment with first and last name.
• COMBINATION CLASS Black Leotards & Tights, Black Ballet Shoes and Tan Leather Tap Shoes. (No Patent Leather).
• BALLET CLASSES Black Leotards, Pink Tights & Pink Ballet Shoes.
• ALL JAZZ CLASSES Black Leotard, Suntan Tights, Black or Tan Jazz Shoes.
• HIP HOP Black Leotard, Black Hip Hop Sneakers or Jazz Shoes. You may wear shorts in this class but they MUST be black.
• LYRICAL/MODERN Black Leotard, Suntan Stirrup Tights & Half Sole Sandals.
• TAP Black Leotard, Black or Suntan Tights, (Junior Level) Tan or Black U-Shells. (Senior Level) Black Lace up Tap Shoes.
• ALL BOYS White T-Shirt, Black Dance Trousers, Black Jazz and or Tap Shoes.
•Please note that the shoes your dancer wears in class may be different for the recital. You will be notified in December about final shoe decisions after our faculty finalizes their recital costumes.

6 years of age and up. 1 or 2 times a week available.

(Classical Ballet Technique Class is required to take this class)

BARBI DOLL JAZZ CLASS
5 years of previous training and audition required.
(Auditions to be held July 24th and 25th)

JAZZ CLASS
8 years of age and up
TAP CLASS
8 years of age and up.
INDIVIDUAL OR SEMI PRIVATE
4 years previous training AND ENROLLMENT IN A CLASS.

TUITION RATES:
• Based on the season.
• Charged by the month, September to June.
• Due the first day of EACH MONTH.
• A 5% Late Charge is applied to any balance as of the 14th of each month.
• Tuition is NON Refundable.
• There is a $35.00 charge for any returned check.
FAMILY RATE OR MORE THAN ONE CLASS PER WEEK:
• 1st Child or 1st Class, Regular Tuition.
• 2nd Child or 2nd Class, $1.00 Less than Regular Tuition.
• 3rd Child or 3rd Class, $1.00 Less than Regular Tuition.

For Each Private or Semi-Private Class:
Please Note: A FINAL COSTUME BALANCE will be applied to Every Dancers Account on or by April 1, 2012. Parents, please confirm your account balance with our Office Staff. COSTUME DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. All account balances including May Tuition must be paid in full by Monday, April 16, 2012.
If I declare Option 1, The Costume Deposit Payment must be PAID IN FULL by Friday, October 7, 2011. Any deposit paid after the October 7, 2011 due date, for Option 1 will be subject to a $10.00 PER COSTUME Service Charge.
If I declare Option 2, The Costume Deposit Payment Plan requires THREE Equal Payments, Once a Month, In September, October, and November beginning September 1, 2011 and ending Friday, November 4, 2011. Any costume deposit not completed by the Friday, November 4, 2011 due date will be subject to a $10.00 PER COSTUME Service Charge. Please Note: Option 2 automatically defaults to Option 1 if Three Equal Monthly Installments are not paid in the months of September, October, and November.

Ashley Mooney - grew up at Miss Jeanne's School of Dance Arts and went on to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. While residing in Philadelphia, she danced in various works set by Ronen Koresh, Molly Misgalla, Zane Booker, Wayne St. David, Scott Jovovich and Donald Lundsford. She has performed in New York City, Philadelphia, Atlantic City and has worked commercially in fitness and dance videos. Ashley has worked for Starpowers Power Pak Tour assisting master teachers such as Ray Leeper, Kacy Combs, Jason Parsons and A.C. Ciulla. Ashley's Choreography could be seen on the University of Pennsylvanias Dance Team, choreography concerts at the Drake Theatre, and other various dance studios in the tri-state area. In 2006, Ashley became a proud faculty member at Miss Jeanne's School of Dance Arts and was named Artistic Director in 2011. Ashley continues her dance education by frequently attending workshops and teacher training programs up and down the east coast to ensure her students experience the latest in dance trends, techniques, and training. She is excited to share her life-long passion with the current and next generation of dancers and proud to carry on Miss Jeannes, Miss Gwendels and Miss Barbaras vision and legacy of the studio for another 67+ years at Miss Jeannes School of Dance Arts.
Sarah Schweyer - was a 2006 graduate from Miss Jeannes School of Dance Arts and became a faculty member in 2009. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from DeSales University in May 2010. During her time at DeSales, she had the opportunity to perform in various works in both the Emerging Choreographers and Dance Ensemble Concerts, including Twyla Tharps The One Hundreds. She attended the American College Dance Festival in both Missoula, MT and Akron, OH. Sarah was president of XTE, the dance honors society. Outside of DeSales, she has performed with Monarch Dance Company and MarDelDance Company, and choreographed the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts productions of Gypsy, The Sound of Music, and Chicago. Sarah teaches at Parkettes Gymnastic Training Center. She is currently working towards her Masters of Education.
Molly Misgalla - Since graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from Point Park University, Molly's career has taken her all over the globe. She has performed in theater and industrial shows in Tokyo, Japan, taught dance classes in Paris, London and Luxembourg to name a few.
Molly's choreography has won many awards on the national level. Her work can be seen on several national dance companies such as Eleone Dance Theatre, Desales University, 112 Productions, European industrials, NJ/PA entertainment companies, Penn State Dance Team and twice a year in the Merriam Theatre in Center City Philadelphia featuring University of the Arts Dance Majors. Many of her students can be seen on Broadway, TV, commercials and with renowned dance companies. This is Mollys 12 season with us at MJSODA. Currently, Molly is also a professor of dance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
Nicole Williams - started dancing at Miss Jeanne's School of Dance Arts in 1993. After graduating in 2003, she attended Northampton Community College and DeSales University. While in college she performed in Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, Sugar Babies, and Singin' in the Rain at Municipal Opera Company and Peter Pan at Pennsylvania Youth Theatre. She also choreographed musicals at Phillipsburg Middle School. At DeSales University she was a teacher and the Student Director of the Conservatory of Dance and she choreographed for many student shows. In 2007 she returned to Miss Jeanne's School of Dance Arts to proudly join the faculty as our tap teacher. In 2008 she graduated from DeSales University with her BA in Dance and a minor in business.
Lisa Dell Alba - Received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from Desales University, and continued her studies to receive credits for a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. While at Desales, Miss Lisa taught community classes for the Conservatory of Dance, performed with the ACTion Dance Touring Company and choreographed her own work for the student dance concert. As a graduate of Miss Jeannes School of Dance Arts, Miss Lisa has taught at various dance studios throughout the Philadelphia area and is delighted to share her love of dance with the talented students of this school.
Mary Stangl - When you enter the studio Mary is the first smiling face you will see. 25 years ago she started out as a dance Mom extraordinaire. After both her daughters graduated she continued her dedication and love for the studio by becoming our studio office manager in 2007.
